"No artist is truly an island unto himself."
Josh Gordon
Josh is one of my oldest friends and is the editor of Boxing Gorillas. Without a doubt, Josh had the hardest job of anyone attached to this book. His work has been critical to the evolution of a readable version of Boxing Gorillas. Before working his current job with Orbea bicycles in Little Rock, Arkansas, Josh was a creative writing professor with Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS.
Chris Nolan
Chris was kind enough to lend his considerable talents to the task of creating a cover design which makes me happier every time I see it.
William Patrick Butler
Pat Butler is responsible for taking some of the only decent pictures of me ever! His work should not be over-looked considering how little he had to work with. Bravo!
Jason Turner
Jason Turner is one of the areas best singer/songwriters and I have been privileged to work with him for the past three years. Our new album, 13 Years, was released independently in 2010, and a new album is in the works.
Jedi Clampett
Another one of my favorite projects has been the ongoing saga of the acoustic/slam-grass mish-mash that is Jedi Clampett. I have been fortunate enough to have had some of Jackson's best musicians cycle in and out of this band over the years. If you're around, you can find out what's new with us by becoming our friend on Facebook.
Jason Stanfield
Keyboardist, classic sci-fi geek, and amateur graphics & web designer Jason Stanfield designed this website.
Jackson Free Press
The Jackson Free Press has been a great addition to the cultural landscape of Jackson, Mississippi, and I am proud to say that I have had even a small part to do with that. You owe it to yourself to check out some of the best of what Mississippi has to offer at jacksonfreepress.com.
